Cheddar and Chive Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese and chives.
  • Add milk and stir until just combined.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  • Roll out the dough to about 1 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  • Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
