- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare the Marinade
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, orange zest, lemon zest, orange juice, and lemon juice.
- Add minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, coriander, turmeric, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until well combined.
Step 2: Marinate the Chicken
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
Step 3: Cook the Chicken
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
- Cook for 6–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden and cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Transfer the chicken to serving plates.
- Spoon a little of the pan juices over the top for extra flavor.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro.
- Serve with steamed vegetables, quinoa, brown rice, or a crisp green salad.
TIPS:
- For extra tenderness, pound the chicken breasts to even thickness before marinating.
- This recipe works beautifully on an outdoor grill for added smoky flavor.
- Use leftovers in wraps, salads, or grain bowls for healthy meal prep options.
