- 1 medium yellow onion, cut into 1/2″ wedges
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 (3.5 lb.) beef chuck roast
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Step By Step Procedure
At first, take a slow cooker. Then take some olive oil. Heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Next, Dab the whole roast dry with paper towels, season all over with salt and pepper.
1. Sear roast in a medium pot until browned on both sides.
2. Continue it for about 4 – 5 minutes per side.
3. Transfer the roast to the slow cooker.
